Grace star Paul Rudd learned the true meaning of the old adage “the show must go on” recently when a drunk theatergoer vomited during a performance of the dark comedy! Rudd managed to stay in character throughout the commotion, so he stopped by The Late Show With David Letterman on November 20 to finally speak out about the puke-filled evening during Letterman's famous Top Ten segment. Titled “Thoughts That Went Through Paul Rudd’s Mind When an Audience Member Vomited During His Broadway Show,” the list was read off by Rudd himself, and featured hilarious commentary including “I was hoping for a standing ovation. Instead I got projectile vomiting,” and “Guess I’m not the only one who’s drunk.” Click below to hear Rudd’s inner thoughts, then see him in a (hopefully) vomit-free performance of Grace at the Cort Theatre!
